There’s nothing like approaching your own house and being glad it’s yours.  If your house is in need of an exterior lift, then you’ve come to the right place.  At basilecolor we believe that there must be a strong relationship between paint color and the architecture of your home.  We will consider the details specific to your home-its roof, stone or brick, landscape, walkways, and trim details like moldings, windows, window sashes, shutters, door frames, porches and columns.  We’ll even look at other houses in your neighborhood to place yours as separate and unique. 

Like an interior consultation, an exterior consultation with basilecolor is a mutual collaboration.  Once we arrive at a color direction, we’ll do color testing or swatching on different parts of the house.  This will determine how the chip color translates in real paint to the light and shade and textures of your home.  You’ll sit with the swatches for a given amount of time and we’ll return to reassess until all colors work. We will then write up final instructions for your painter, including paint finish and brand. Ultimately, you can be assured that we’ll use our knowhow and experience to take you to the right palette for you.
