Bio

Lisa Basile is a trained textile designer.  While working in the home furnishings industry, she designed quilts, created coordinated fabric groups and oversaw fabric printing abroad.  As an industry designer, she honed her eye and skill for color.  Her work as a color consultant emerged quite naturally from this work, as well as from her lifelong love of color and texture.

In addition to her color work, Lisa continues to design and produce her own nontraditional quilts.  She is also a partner in the collaborative quilt studio, kasuli.

She lives in Maplewood, NJ with her husband, David, and their two daughters.
